Six Sigma Yellow Belt course is an introductory course to provide an understanding of the Six Sigma methodology and basic toolset to employees that participate in Continuous Improvement, but don’t yet lead Improvement projects. In addition to the continuous improvement training, this course imparts skills that improve the ability of employees to participate as team members of Six Sigma projects being run by your Green and Black Belts.

Certified Yellow Belts can productively add to existing Six Sigma projects and help team members start to recognize problems areas that could benefit from improvement activities. Six Sigma Certificate covers these tactical points:
- Workplace support of Six Sigma projects and how to increase their success
- How to identify, monitor and control profit-eating practices
- Root Causation techniques, and tools
- Maximize resources using Statistical Process Control
- Intro to the PDCA (Plan, Do, Check, Act) methodology
- Understand, and be able to create Process Maps
- Team participation interaction with subject matter experts (SME) on a projects
The direct profitability factors that come from Six Sigma are realized in successful project completion that improves the work processes of the business. Yellow Certification also covers foundations of production and transactional system improvement to better meet customer expectations.
